Trump as Mob Boss

Protection Racket Tactics

On Tuesday night, 17Nov2020, the two Republican members of the 4-member Wayne County Board of Canvassers in Michigan declined to certify the voting results DESPITE NO EVIDENCE OF ILLEGITIMACY. Such action could have excluded Detroit and flipped the state from Biden to Trump. After a three-hour heated debate, the two Republican members relented and changed their vote to certify the county election results.

Subsequently, President Trump personally called each of the GOP board members, Monica Palmer and William Hartmann. According to Ms. Palmer, “His concern was about my safety, and that was really touching. He is a really busy guy, and to have his concern about my safety was appreciated. It was not pressure. It was genuine concern for my safety.”

(Me thinks the lady doth protest too much?)

Imagine that…

The most powerful man in the world calls you personally to say that he thinks you should change your vote because he’s CONCERNED FOR YOUR SAFETY.

What a nice, considerate guy!

(Both tried to change their votes, but their attempts were too late — thankfully.)

Trump’s behavior is clearly that of a mob boss. How far must he go before we impeach him again and remove him from office? Can we wait two months until Biden’s inauguration? How many state governors and Republican legislators have received similar treatment? What else is Trump willing to do if we don’t react to this?
